portrait tricks
a portrait painted black, colored by her heart's desire, rused her ideal eyes as she missed the unwanted brushstroke.

She believed it so, and missed the mark— to paint over them, those smearing colors caused by accidental brushings, believed to be caused by some other hand other than her own.
